Yes – All donations made towards any of our initiatives are subject to 50% tax exemption, under section 80G of the Indian Income Tax Act.
Yes- we will be sending a donation receipt to you, either via whatsapp or by post. This receipt will make you eligible for tax exemption and can be shared with the Income Tax authorities. Towards the end of the financial year, we will also share the FORM 10BE with you which will show your donation directly on the income tax portal, allowing you to easily claim the tax exemption. In case you change your whatsapp number or your postal address in the future, please contact us with the updated details.
Our team guarantees and thoroughly supervises all the donations that we receive to ensure that every single penny is implemented towards the development and maintenance of our shelters and missions. We have a team of experienced accountants who overlook and organise all our donations.
As an NGO, we do not receive any direct government funding. However, the government has extended certain tax and duty exemptions to us to help us minimize our costs.
